As office manager, Christie maintains the day to day team operations to ensure that things are running smoothly from all angles. She manages the marketing, oversees agents and staff, and works to keep the business running the best way possible. 

Christie graduated from Northern Illinois University with a degree in Elementary Education and quickly started a teaching career with middle school English and Social Studies. Once she started her family and had done some part-time organizational work for Sarah, the real estate industry position quickly became a perfect fit. Your Listing Coordinator will assist you with the listing process with our Team! From scheduling appointments, assisting with paperwork, and constantly monitoring our current listings to update our clients, they are always available to help! These coordinators’ attention to detail and organizational skills help ensure that our Team will keep your listing process moving smoothly!
Kristen comes to us from a teaching and administrative assistant background. Her nurturing and caring demeanor as a teacher are a great match when assisting our sellers to provide the best possible experience while listing your home. She will help provide referrals and continue to work with you until your home is ready for the final step of photography. Her previous experience as an administrative assistant to the President of a small manufacturing company gives her the skills for follow up, organization, time management, and discretion. This translates into handling multiple sellers at once while giving each a unique and individual experience.

Melissa (Mel) graduated from Columbia College Chicago with a degree in Marketing Communications and an emphasis in Creative Sports Marketing. After completing internships at a local radio station and NFL & NBA sports agency in Chicago, Mel worked as a Ticket Representative for the Chicago Bulls. Later, she accepted a position as Stadium Experience Coordinator for the Chicago Bears where she worked for five years, and spent two years with an event services provider in Chicago. Mel is most comfortable while managing guest experiences from start to finish and paying special attention to client needs. Transaction Coordinators

From the time you sign a contract, whether it be a listing or sales, your Transaction Coordinator will help assist you every step of the way. She will be in constant communication with home inspectors, lenders, attorneys, and other agents to ensure that everything runs smoothly from start to finish.
Chantal joined the Sarah Leonard Team in the fall of 2016, initially as a Listing Coordinator who quickly transitioned into the role of a Transaction Coordinator. Chantal brings her experience as an Insurance Relocation Specialist who negotiated short-term leases for displaced families. Her knowledge of real estate and her ability to work efficiently under pressure has made her a great fit for the team. Alex’s past experience as a hotel front desk manager lends itself perfectly to her role of transaction coordinator for the busy Sarah Leonard Team. She has the skills needed to juggle multiple clients while tending to the needs of each individual one. Sellers will feel her organizational skills, as well as her personal touch along the way. She communicates well with all parties involved: buyers agents, attorneys, appraisers, and inspectors, much like running a hotel staff to keep things moving efficiently. As the team’s Inside Sales Associate, Laura and SJ focuses on connecting our buyers with an agent on our team! Scheduling showings with the buyer’s agents on our team, setting up clients’ online home searches, or checking in on a regular basis to make sure the agents are locating the perfect property for our clients!
SJ has been working in the customer service industry for her entire career. Starting out working as a Supervisor in the Fraud Department at Chase Bank, SJ spent all of her time problem solving and handling various issues on a daily basis. As our Inside Sales Assistant (ISA), SJ still spends her days on the phone, but on much more positive note, helping buyers with their beginning steps when buying a home. From coordinating calls with an experienced lender to starting you in a search to find the perfect home, and eventually pairing you with an agent, SJ's calm and soothing demeanor will assure you that you have called the right place.
