Hoffman Estates is a northwest suburb of Chicago located off I-90 Jane Adams Tollway with a population of just under 52,000. It is divided between Cook and Kane counties, and bordered by major suburbs such as Schaumburg and Barrington. The city’s Prairie Stone Business Park holds the headquarters of Sears Holdings Corporation, the midwestheadquarters for AT&T, and other major businesses.
Hoffman Estates’ biggest draw is the village owned, 11,000 seat, multi-purpose Sears Centre Arena. The facility is home to the Windy City Bulls G League basketball team, and has hosted many major artists and national events. In close proximity, you will also find a Cabela’s outfitter store and a 295-room Marriot hotel.
Due to the city’s unique location, residents are divided between six different school districts, mainly District 54 & high school District 211, with most attending either Hoffman Estates High School or James B. Conant High School.
Though a popular business destination, the city is also part of an intricate Cook County Forest Preserve system, and offers a wide array of pedestrian and bike trails. Hoffman Estates provides convenient transportation options for commuters, a range of sports and entertainment options, dining, shopping, and a great place for families of all ages to settle and enjoy its offerings.
